Discussion: Heavy rain has moved into southern Manitoba as a strong low pressure system tracks northwards from the Dakotas. Most of the rain with this system will fall today. Heavy rain will gradually taper off tonight before ending by midday Saturday. Colder air has wrapped into this system leading to a transition to snow over parts of western Manitoba. ### Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible.
